The appearance of the building wasn't impressive, but the flavors were spot on. The fresh sashimi was absolutely delicious.
I had a delightful sushi experience at Wasabi34. I was searching for a place that met my expectations, and this restaurant certainly delivered. The service was friendly, the fish was exceptionally fresh, and there was an intriguing variety on the menu. I also enjoyed a fantastic takeout option!
Recently moved to Matawan from nyc area so I'm pretty picky about my sushi. Haven't found a sushi spot that rivals some of the better places in nyc but I knew that before I moved to this area LOL! Anyways, I've tried a few different spots so far in the area and so far this is my favorite! I almost always order sashimi deluxe and I asked them to not give me white tuna and they obliged and substituted for me so that's always a plus for me! I was pleasantly surprised with my plate plus the pieces weren't skimpy either! Good service and my fish was fresh and it filled me up so overall happy and best part it's only 6 mins away! Will definitely be back! Will take a pic next time!
The food is fantastic, but I mistakenly assumed that the bento box included rice. Be sure to order a side of rice!
This is our favorite sushi place, and we order from here at least three times a month. The rolls are packed with fresh fish and are always delicious. I highly recommend the Sakura Maki Dinner and the Patty Roll.
