A classic beautiful old fashioned Greek. The food is really great, the prices are unbeatable and the service is what you would expect from a restaurant. There were three of us there, the food came quickly and we were super satisfied! We will definitely come more often!
We came here because of the Schlemmerblock. The restaurant doesn't make a good impression from the outside, and the inside isn't any better either. The place appears to have remained unchanged since it opened at least 40 years ago. Welcome rather no, owner sat at a table and assigned us a table. The female waiter brought us the cards without even saying hello. Shortly afterwards she wanted to take the order. We hadn't found what we were looking for because the menu was far too large and we told her so. It was immediately clear that she didn't like the fact that we couldn't order yet. So we just ordered drinks at first. We had now found something, my wife from the daily menu, the fish for 7.80 E, as she doesn't eat meat, and I from the main menu. Now we have ordered, but the fish from the daily menu could not be offset against the gourmet block. My wife would have liked to have ordered another warm dish that was vegetarian or a fish from the main menu, but this wasn't available. She also couldn't put together a main course from the starter menu. This didn't work. The service did not make any compromises or exceptions. Why can't you offset the fish for EUR 7.80 against the gourmet block, but with a dish that costs E9.50, for example, this would be possible. Where's the logic in that? You probably couldn't make the daily special smaller, as it is often reported here that the portions seem to shrink when you have a gourmet block. Why do the restaurateurs even participate if you just leave the restaurant frustrated? This is not how you get new guests. The Schlemmerblock should not accommodate restaurateurs as this would harm the block. We didn't feel like eating anything here and then went to a competitor without a gourmet block, where we were warmly welcomed. Conclusion: Greek from the 80s, old atmosphere, old menu, unfriendly owner and employee. Prices are low, but I don't want to know how you can do business there without being able to pay a lot of taxes and whether all current regulations are adhered to when processing the food.
Unfriendly, the food wasn't good and not that bad, but for that money I could have cooked at home, never again
