The service this time, however, was very poor…we were constantly searching for our assigned waitress. Furthermore, our table was repeatedly forgotten…for example, all the other tables received bread…we didn't…when we complained, we were told our bread would be brought immediately…unfortunately, it never happened! Waiters kept coming to our table to bring us drinks we hadn't ordered…but we had to wait ages for the drinks we had ordered! After midnight, there wasn't a single server in sight. We had to queue at the bar to get our drinks. Sorry, but for €235 per person, this is unacceptable!…Conclusion: no more New Year's Eve celebrations at the Bootshaus

Thei... read more Excellent location and a wonderful place! The restaurant is beautiful and the service is very good as well! The food is also very good and of good quality. Their main recommendation, the schnitzels couldnt be better, with several options, varieties and sauces. The only thing i miss on the menu is a bit more of options, I believe it could be many more dishes which would bring me many more times to the restaurant. Ive seen they have a very beautiful place for events and could imagine is also a great location for it

The toilets...the towels were a mix of... read more Actually, everything was great...almost! The ambiance was fantastic, the food was good, the service very friendly...But!! The toilets...the towels were a mix of cardboard and nothing else. Hard as a board...brown, unpleasant...soap...Nothing about it was right. The great food immediately became secondary, as the guest left in a bad mood. And this was in the restroom! It costs next to nothing compared to the high prices of food and drinks. And skimping on hygiene...why bother...

The only downside is that the chili peppers in garlic are quite hot, ranging from medium to very spicy. This shouldn't be mentioned. It's a shame, it's too far from Hamburg, otherwise I'd be here more often.
