I absolutely love this place!! My grandparents used to live in Floral Park, and I can't believe my mom never took us there before! I decided to stop in at the Manhasset location today on a whim, just wanting some good coffee, but ended up being blown away by how amazing and well-made everything looked. What Vito P doesn't like about Buttercooky Bakery:
If you want a surprise for your wedding cake , this is the bakery to order from! We specifically stated what flavors we wanted for the filling, and the color of the decorative flowers on the cake. Both were COMPLETELY WRONG, and we reached out multiple times with NO REPLY. Thank god the wedding was memorable because the Cake surely wasn?t. I normally patronize Jericho Turnpike. I found this location by accident and I was not disappointed. TEN STARS

I picked up a dozen pastries for a client visit a few doors down. Plus one for myself. After the meeting I tried mine and knew right away that I had to return for another half dozen to share with my family; plus one for the road. The Buttercooky box traveled with me back to Florida and my family loved it. Buttercooky is a must if are in the Long Island area.
Ben has outdone himself with this excellent establishment, the croissants here are the best around, so buttery and dense and moist yet flaky, wish the new hyde park location had the same ,theirs is too dry without the buttery content, i'm guessing the location
This is an old-school bakery cafe and is very well run. I had an omelette here that was great, and the service was top notch. It’s actually overwhelming how much of a variety of pastries, baked goods, breads among other items this bakery has. And it’s all beautifully on display. The atmosphere was great in the cafe too. I could hang out here all day!
