The cakes are excellent and home made, and the music is unobtrustive and intelligent. Sometimes service can be a bit slow, but with the provision of daily papers (the only place in Didsbury to provide these), unless you are really hurrying, this is a great choice. lovely Eccles cakes, chocolate cake, excellent fruit cake and the sausage butties are the best with sausages from Axons of Dids
