Would highly recommend, amazing tasting menu. The twice cooked octopus, cod and steak courses were particular favourites and the wine flight complemented the food perfectly. A particular stand out was the service, friendly and attentive and on a par with best we’ve had in Manchester View all feedback.
What DavidB doesn't like about La Bandera:
The food was mediocre and the service was awful. The waitstaff consistently messed up our order, we had to continuously request water, and we were given the wrong bill three times at the end of our meal. It's best to steer clear of this restaurant until their employees receive some proper training. View all feedback.
Came here a few months agoThere was a group of us - about 8 people - and we decided to other lots of different dishes and share it.
With some of the other Yelpers I came down to La Bandera this week to try their tapas, of which I have heard great things.
Another updateStill greatBoth service and food. Additional great dishes- vieira (scallop) with chorizo, pulpo (octopus).
Would highly recommend, amazing tasting menu. The twice-cooked octopus, cable and steak courses were special favorites and the wine flight complemented the food perfectly. A special excerpt was the service, friendly and attentive and on a par with the best we had in Manchester
Good little tapas restaurant. The waiter knew his stuff about the plates. Order the house red wine the others are too expensive and the house wine is good enough.
