She got the green bea... read more This was my third time to eat here but my wife's first. I just love this place. We both got the combination 2 catfish filets and 5 shrimp. She got the green beans and they cooked them perfectly for her. Then we split the chocolate pie. Hit my yumfactor!!! So will be coming back here in the future.

It was our first visit here, I have no problem paying for good food and convenience so the price didn?t bother me, although it is a bit on the high side. Theplace wasn?t busy, only a couple of other tables occupied and one large party in the center, I was expecting good service butmaybe a little slow due to the large party. When we were seated the hostess brought us some water, after about 8 minutes ourserver/waitress finally approached our table and asked what we would like to drink, we just told her water (she never gave usher name) So we ordered an appetizer and we?re actually ready to place our entree order but she cut us off and just walked awaywith the appetizer order. So we waited, after a few minutes our appetizer came out, it was not brought to us by our server butanother staff member. As we were eating it we continued to wait to order our entree?s. After a little while the waitress finallycame and refilled our water, as soon as she did she took back off, not giving us a chance to place our order. I continued toobserve her. She was continually playing on her phone and talking with someone at the front counter. She had 0 interest intaking care of her customers. As I stated before, I don?t mind the price, as long as it?s good, quick and the service is onpoint, but this was unacceptable.

The lunch was out of this world. Way out by Pluto. My good friend and cohort Henry Gree had the fried catfish and an IPA. He said that it was so good he wanted to cry. I had the steak, potato salid casserole, and a big piece of winebread.The staff was very attentive and professional. I will make another trip even though my leg is crippled and lame. Everyone very pleasant except for the woman who took our order at cash register. I know it is hard to find good help these days but this woman raised her voice at me when I simply asked her to repeat something and she then took ourmoney and added tip but did not place our order. A sweet waitress noticed we had been sitting at table for over 50 minutes andasked if we had received our food. would have given 5 stars but could not because of the woman at cash register.
