Sidekicks Café is a cozy, small‑town–style brunch spot with warm decor, a covered porch and dog‑friendly patio. Generous portions, homemade cookies and standout items like a pimento‑cheese bacon burger and giant omelets keep locals and visitors coming back. Service is usually friendly and attentive, prices feel fair, and catering/online takeout are available. Expect occasional order mixups and uneven kitchen execution — oversalty dishes or soggy biscuits — but overall it’s worth a visit for hearty breakfasts and scratch‑made pastries.

I loved everything about this place! The staff is incredible—professional and efficient. Everything is homemade! The cookies are made from scratch, and the hash brown casserole is absolutely mouthwatering. The bacon and eggs are cooked to perfection. Even the pastries have a touch of sweetness, made with the same flour as the cookies. The atmosphere is fantastic, both indoors and on the patio. Plus, they allow well-behaved dogs on the terrace! Although the line may seem long, it’s definitely worth the wait, and it moves quickly. This is a small but rapidly growing business, and I can't wait to bring everyone I know here! They even offer catering, which I’m considering for a wedding—how great is that?

I usually don't write reviews, but I had such a fantastic experience that I felt compelled to share it. Everything we tried was delicious and incredibly affordable. I’m thrilled to discover this gem in our neighborhood! My fiancée and I sampled the Hasch-Braun-Casserole, a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, and some pancakes—though I can't recall the exact name, it’s listed on the menu! Everything was sooooo good. We also bought some muffins and scones to enjoy for breakfast the next day, and they did not disappoint. In fact, some of them didn’t even last until breakfast because we couldn’t resist eating them in the car! I have guests visiting next weekend, and I now know exactly where to take them for breakfast.

I would give SideKicks Cafe a 10-star rating if I could! While visiting Nebraska, we happened upon this little gem while searching for coffee. We were pleasantly surprised not just by the variety of coffee specialties, but also by the warm southern hospitality, homemade food, and cozy atmosphere. We ordered our coffee and breakfast to go, and we were so impressed with the service and food that we returned with the rest of our group for breakfast the following morning. The freshly baked muffins and cookies were just as fantastic as the Frittata! We also enjoyed chatting with the staff and the local patrons. I can't wait for our next visit to Nashville!

In town for a weekend getaway and we looked at the reviews of this restaurant so we thought we would give it a try. I had the scramble plate that was on special and my wife ordered the omelet. The scramble plate was good but was a little too salty. The omelet was not good. It was made with canned mushrooms and lunch meat for the ham. The juice from the mushrooms wasrunning all over the plate making the bottom of the biscuit all soggy, which you can see it in the picture I attached. It wasso salty my wife could only eat the egg part of it, which was a bit over cooked. If I lived here, I would definitely give itanother try because I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt and try them at least twice but since we are out oftowners, not able to do so. On a positive note, The biscuits were delicious and the gravy from my scramble plate would havemade amazing biscuits and gravy. The service was wonderful and the staff were very nice. After tax and tip we spent about $35with no beverages. The price was no big deal for us because we understand the high cost of everything right now, just thoughtI would let people know. The portion sizes were huge, so the food cost was commensurate with what you received I didn?t feelcheated at all with the cost.

I found this place today called Sidekicks Cafe. It was so damn good! Best Pimento Cheese Bacon Burger! Great desserts, which I came home with 5 of them. Have not tried yet but they look great! Staff was so inviting, sweet, kind and attentive. Shoutout to the Chef Karen! Love how we have the same name! I will be returning to try the whole menu, as there are so many theseI want to eat.
