The plac... read more Was here today with the lovely Ursula en route to Killarney. It’s a really cosy pub with an open fire and is most welcoming on a cold wet February day. The place is full of old black and white photographs of railwaymen and days gone by. We arrived after normal breakfast hours but the lovely staff were very obliging and they made fried eggs on toast for me and twas just magic! Ursula had homemade scones and she was delighted. A great pit stop if you’re passing through!
