Beef-a-roo - Machesney Park
Beef-a-roo
Description
Once a reliable quick-stop, this fast-food spot has slipped: burgers are flatter and overly salty, fries are repeatedly hard, and roast beef offerings arrive rubbery and difficult to eat. Milkshakes remain a standout. With recurring textural and seasoning problems, diners seeking consistently satisfying, tender sandwiches should consider other nearby options until standards improve.

Fast, friendly, accurate service. However I notice this location is always very messy inside. Tables never wiped properly, soda station always sticky and gross. Floors very unkept.
Placed order #316 on 7/29/2023 at 5:17pm. They forgot one of the milkshakes. Had to park and unbuckle a toddler to go backside and get it. Got a mile down the road and realized they didn't put any sauces in the bag for our 3 Chicken Tender meals. Had to go back and park and go in again with my toddler. Finally got home. Missing a fry. Wish they would make sure everything is in the bag before they give it to you. Or have 2 associates check the bag. Huge inconvenience. Expect better when you place an order over $100.00.
I recently discovered that I have celiac disease, and when I ordered a roast beef sandwich with a gluten-free bun, I had no idea I had also ordered fries. The staff kindly asked if I wanted the fries without salt, as they contain gluten. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness; it saved me from a potentially uncomfortable night. If I could give more stars, I definitely would!
I recently dined at Beef-a-Roo with a friend, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The meat in both the Beef and Cheddar sandwich and the Roast Beef sandwich was rubbery and difficult to eat. I almost choked while trying to swallow it. The poor quality of the food makes me strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. Consider other options for a satisfying meal.
