We were four people arriving without a reservation, and fortunately we were given a table in the basement, where a beautiful wine cellar is set within a heritage building. We enjoyed a lovely dinner. I chose the chef’s recommendations, and they were excellent. A wonderful evening overall. The prices are on the higher end for this type of establishment, but the experience is definitely worth it. Sadly, this was probably the most overrated dining experience that I visited during a 1 month tour of France. Yes, it 's stylish albeit in a traditional manner, it 's energetic, has a good vibe, and is clearly very popular with younger (Insta-gen) diners...2 different locals had recommended Nosch to me. However, I went there primarily to 'eat '...to enjoy the famous Lyon cuisine. In that respect, I was rather disappointed. The trout gravalax was good quality fish, but was so so salty, to eat it I needed all the bread and water I could find! My main course: mushroom, spinach aged cheese risotto was so heavy, and so bland, like British food from the 1970s/80s! I rarely leave food on a plate, but found this food quite inedible. Several others nearby were enjoying their pork belly. Hhmm, perhaps I just chose badly that evening.... Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50–60 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had wonderful meals full of tantalizing aromas at Nosch. We started with the aperitif that was delicious. My husband and I shared a green salad. For Entrées he had the potato gnocchi with mushrooms (they looked to be Chanterelles and Shitake), and I had the seabrane, a delicate white fish, with whey: a snail I have never tried. Delicious! This was our second favorite meal in France based on the taste, quality of food, professional service and the entire ambience. Everything was perfect. Very recommended.

Very recommended, fantastic staff with recommendations helpful. Great for a vegetarian and a meat eater. The food was fresh and beautiful. It was busy and we got one of the last tables without booking as we arrived early (7.30). We had the terrine and burrata entrees (best burrata I had), both had the vegetarian plate for main and profit brine for dessert.

We were invited to the table by a very friendly waitress and then a fantastic journey begon. Homemade terrine, soft and tender, but quite complex and a subtle but tasteful burrata were brought to our table by the chef for starters. We chose a bottle of white Saint Joseph Rhone wine recommended by the sommelier that really combined well with the meal. The veal and cheviche as main dishes were both delicious, but the chevice was the clear winner. We ended with 5 cheeses we could pick from.a large plate. We were advised to keep one cheese with garlic as last, as it would finish off our taste buds. And it did, but the taste buds went out in pure joy. Only to be revived by a last sip of St.Joseph. Did I mention the kind waitresses, the friendly sommelier, the chef coming to our table? We spotted the chef regularly checking if all was ok, the sommelier checking if the wine was as to be expected. The waitresses attending to the nudge of an eyebrow even when the restaurant was at it's busiest. Not to forget the lovely atmosphere of a small buzzing Lyonnais restaurant street. This little gem is worth the detour and deserves 5 stars.

We had original and delicious sandwiches. The ingredients were of great quality and freshness.

The must try: chocolate mousse. Delightful, airy, exactly the consistency a mousse should be. Friendly and attentive service. Great indoor and outdoor seating options that are comfortable.
