What Torsty doesn't like about Clos Bis:
I had the set menu. The tartar had a bland taste of being made hours earlier and being left in the fridge. The accompanying bread was supermarket quality. The main course chicken was well cooked, which is more than what could be said of the accompanying veg (spinach, beans, and broccoli). I suspect this had likewise been cooked well in advance. The Clos Bis has nothing special from the outside. Located near the La Part Dieu station, you wouldn't get there by accident. But when you enter, then you know you found an interesting place: The tables are magnificent, the waiter has a very provocative humour.
