J&b Coffee - Lubbock
J&b Coffee
Description
Nestled near Texas Tech, this cozy Lubbock café is a student favorite for Daybreak-roasted coffee, loose-leaf teas, seasonal drinks and light sandwiches. Bright windows, outdoor seating and charging-equipped tables create an inviting café vibe for studying, reading or unwinding, though it can get noisy at peak hours. Service is generally warm and customizable, but patrons note occasional staff rudeness and inconsistent communication for bulk/event orders.

Had a bagel with peanut butter (crazy good) and a cappuccino (wanted to ask the barista how she did the foam because it was sooooooo good. texture was silky but airy idk how she did it). they forgot my boyfriends oatmeal tho.
Most of the staff is very nice but the woman with the read hair is super disrespectful. I do not recommend purchasing bulk for an event from them. Don’t communicate and then expect you to know everything. I’m really disappointed honestly i normally love going there but I will never go back now.
This place is really nice—it's not too noisy, and the atmosphere is beautiful. They offer a wide range of drinks, and you can customize a lot of items not listed on the menu. The service is friendly, too. I can easily see myself coming here regularly if I want to unwind, sit down, and read. There’s outdoor seating available, and the tables inside have charging stations. It’s the best spot I’ve found in Lubbock if you're looking for a cozy place that isn't too big or loud. It definitely has a major café vibe.
