Gator's
Description
The reviews for the restaurant were mixed. Some customers were extremely disappointed with their meals, finding them bland and overpriced. They felt that the food lacked authentic Cajun flavor and the drinks were warm. Others, however, had a more positive experience, enjoying the hot and fresh food, friendly service, and laid-back atmosphere. The dishes like chicken fried steak and shrimp alfredo were particularly well-received. While some improvements were suggested, such as revising recipes and perfecting the drinks, overall, the restaurant had its charm and potential to become a gem with a little work.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and although the food and service were excellent, the noise level was a bit high. I ordered the Crawfish Etouffee, while my wife chose the Crawfish tails. Both dishes arrived quickly and were served hot. The etouffee was flavorful and had a nice kick to it without being overpowering.
I ordered the Swamp Platter and Cajun Ribeye, and I was really let down. After picking up the food and driving back to my hotel (which was just a five-minute drive), all the fried appetizers had turned into mush, and the steak was tasteless with an unpleasant fishy smell and flavor. Being from Louisiana, I was anticipating bold Cajun flavors, but there was nothing even close to that in the steak. I felt like I wasted $60. I could only eat about a quarter of my meal and ended up throwing the rest away.
Recently had dinner there and the jambalaya was cold and inedible. Our server Taylor was rude, unprofessional when confronted with our concerns, and overall indifferent and uncaring. I’d consider trying the restaurant again, had our service not been so terrible and unforgivable
I had the smothered fried chicken topped with shrimp and crab over rice, and it was amazing! They also offer some truly outstanding frog legs here!
