Description

Eddie's BBQ in Lubbock offers a mixed bag of experiences, with patrons praising its cozy Texan atmosphere and mouthwatering frito pie, alongside criticisms of inconsistent food quality and service. While some revel in the tender brisket and flavorful sausage, others lament the decline in variety and subpar flavors, particularly with the brisket and chopped beef sandwich. Customer service has received mixed reviews, with some noting unhelpful staff during busy hours. Despite these challenges, many remain loyal, drawn back by its charm and potential, hoping for improvements that could elevate their barbecue experience to the next level.

The BBQ had a flat taste. They had NO ribs, a BBQ joint and no ribs??? The coleslaw was tasteless, beans not fully cooked and small portion. Overall poor quality.

Eddie's is the top BBQ spot in Lubbock. The cozy, Texan vibe, mouthwatering meat, and incredible potato salad keep me coming back for more. I never think twice about heading here when I need my BBQ fix. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. You won't regret supporting this place!

Just go. I went the first time and took my dad the following day. My friends come to town and I make sure and take them here. This place is a hidden jewel.

Not sure what's going on here, but this place has gone downhill. They are down to only brisket and sausage? If you wanted a 3 meat plate, it would be sausage, chopped beef, and sliced beef. Huh? It comes already slathered in some type of BBQ sauce. That's not standard at all. Are they trying to cover something up? I don't know. I used to like this place a lot, and the atmosphere is still great, but the service and the food are completely mediocre.
