Union Square - Longview
Union Square
Description
A neighborhood bar with a lively, locals-first vibe—cheap drinks, a pool table and casual after-work crowds. Service is hit-or-miss: standout bartenders make it feel welcoming, but staff attentiveness and hygiene can be inconsistent. Drink portions are sometimes small and pricey, and food and pull-tab options thin out late (no pull-tabs after 8 PM). Overall, a social, unpretentious spot worth trying for a low-key night out.

I visited the restaurant on a Friday night a few weeks ago, and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. The staff member on duty was quite unfriendly and seemed to disregard basic hygiene practices. She handled the glasses by the rim and grabbed fruit with her bare hands. It was also difficult to get her attention, as she appeared more focused on chatting with her friends who had come in.
I would rate it a 3 out of 5. The drink portions are surprisingly small and quite expensive. Additionally, the menu options at 9 PM were very limited, and there were no pull tabs available after 8 PM. However, the bartender was fantastic.
A locals only day drinkers bar if ever I have seen one. That's not necessarily a bad thing. People were nice. Drinks were cheap. Food wasn't terrible. I'd go again. Probably to shoot some
