Panda Inn - Longview
Panda Inn
Description
Dining at this local establishment presents a mixed bag of experiences. While patrons rave about the excellent customer service and highlights like the wonton soup and pork kung pao, several have noted inconsistencies in food quality and order accuracy. Some dishes, such as lo mein and fried rice, failed to impress, often due to overcooked vegetables and insufficient protein. Many suggest visiting early for the best results. Despite some negative experiences, frequent customers appreciate the affordable prices and the absence of MSG. Overall, this restaurant shows promise but needs to refine its offerings for a consistent dining experience.

Awesome food! Love their sweet n sour pork. Pricey but portions are huge so its actually good for 2 always!
I absolutely love this place! The takeout portions are impressive, and the food tastes fantastic. For over $60, you can easily feed three people to the brim.
The food is quite good for the price. It leans a bit more towards vegetables and is somewhat light on the meats, but it's still enjoyable. The seasoning was excellent, and the service was truly outstanding!
This place is undoubtedly the best in town. The staff is consistently welcoming and friendly. The food is great and reasonably priced. Whenever you dine in, you receive a generous portion. It's always my top choice!
Stopped in for lunch- chose the Happy Family. A glass of water pot of hot oolong tea was served promptly without need to request. I chose my fave of Hot Sour soup over egg drop, but both at this restaurant are excellent! The won tons egg roll that came with my meal were good. I had mixed opinions about the Happy Family though: aside from the chicken, shrimp beef usuals, this serving also included pork (slices of BBQ pork)! All of the proteins were very tender not overcooked. Sadly though, the veggies were- considering that I enjoy eating raw snow peas broccoli, the wimpiness of both due to overcooking was just sad.So very happy of no MSG usage at this restaurant, as I am sensitive to it, but the amount of sodium /or soy sauce in the brown sauce of the Happy Family as well as the rice was way too much: I spent the rest of the day drinking a LOT of water.I will most likely return as the service is excellent their food is good with no added MSG, but I'll have to try to remember to state specifics of not overcooking the veggies also request white rice.
