Description
Bodacious BBQ on 6th Street is a beloved local spot, known for its traditional barbecue offerings, especially the ribs, which have garnered both praise and criticism for their tenderness and flavor. While the atmosphere exudes a nostalgic charm, with old-school decor and a friendly vibe, opinions on the sides vary, with some dishes deemed overly rich. Customer service is largely rated positively, but concerns about portion sizes and ingredient transparency, particularly with allergens, have surfaced. Regardless of mixed reviews, it remains a rustic gem for classic BBQ enthusiasts.

I visited the restaurant for lunch and had a great experience. My wife ordered the chicken breast, while I enjoyed a sliced beef sandwich, both accompanied by delicious potato salad that was absolutely tasty. I went back for lunch again today; my wife chose the sliced beef plate, and I had the sliced beef sandwich with potato salad once more. It was just as fantastic as before. The staff were very polite and attentive. During my visit today, I stuck with my usual sliced beef sandwich and potato salad, while my wife opted for the chopped beef with potato salad. Everything was really enjoyable, and the counter staff were very friendly.
Got me some tater salad...hot link sandwich. I just love love there tater salad.. when I lived on Oklahoma for a year, BBQ, was only Bodacious! It's not the same!
Who doesn't enjoy classic BBQ? That's exactly what they offer—traditional, old-school barbecue. However, much like your uncle who can smoke a great brisket, the sides might need a little work; the potato salad has a bit too much pepper, and the beans are just average. The atmosphere is a mix between a roadhouse bar and a cozy small-town family diner.
Ordered Loaded baked potato. BBQ pork was great. Potato comes with sour cream, butter. No cheese or chopped green onions. Like Dickies
My family and I visited this restaurant and ordered a rib sandwich and a sloppy joe. The meat was left exposed under the table light, which made it dry. The worst part was the potato salad; it didn’t taste like any potato salad I’ve ever had before. It was overly creamy, almost like mayonnaise. I definitely won’t be going back and I wouldn’t recommend you waste your money there either.
