Yo... read more I specialize in kitchen renovations, but this place is Grandma's country kitchen 2.0. It's both a local market and an excellent southern-inspired restaurant. You can expect to be enveloped in the warmth of true comfort food and the nostalgic energy of bygone days when meals were savored and everyone took the time to chat. Since it was my first visit, I didn’t get to explore the menu much—I had chicken sausage, eggs, and pancakes—but everything was delightful. The prices are reasonable, and this is a local gem you definitely shouldn’t miss.

I had the fried shrimp po-boy along with the fried chicken, which came with loaded mashed potatoes, collard greens, and fries. I finished off the meal with a refreshing sweet tea. However, as visitors from Mississippi, we were somewhat let down by the food. I ordered the fried chicken plate accompanied by mac and cheese and greens. Unfortunately, the chicken appeared undercooked, with a pink tinge when I took a bite. It also lacked flavor and could have benefited from additional seasoning. Nevertheless, I’m open to giving them another try.
