My son is a huge fan of the crunchy chicken skin and macaroni and cheese. I’ve enjoyed everything we’ve tried so far, and the portions are generous enough to last us two days. I'm a huge fan of house-made sauces, and Lacquered exceeded my expectations. The mac-rrito was out of this world—fresh and served hot. You can tell they take great pride in their food. The generous portion sizes were a nice bonus too. I highly recommend supporting this local family-run restaurant in Long Beach!

The sandwich was uniquely delicious—the slaw balanced the richness of the chicken, while the fried onion straws added a lovely texture. The bread held everything together beautifully, even though the sandwich was larger than my head! As for the fries, they were crispy on the outside and wonderfully smooth on the inside. Even now, as I nibble on the leftovers cold, they're still delicious. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place if you're looking for dinner in the Long Beach area. I can't wait to come back and try their fried chicken!

We ordered about a third of the menu (fried chicken, poutine, garlic noodles with shrimp and veggies, mac and cheese with pork belly, Thai spring rolls, cookies, and chocolate dipped strawberries). Everything was terrific! If I had to pick 2 favorites, I'd choose the garlic noodles and mac and cheese with pork belly. They were super busy but the person working there was friendly and helpful.

I ordered the Caesar salad with fried tofu instead of chicken, and it was fantastic. The lettuce was incredibly crisp, the tofu was cooked to perfection, and the dressing was delightful. My husband tried the spicy grilled chicken sandwich, and he described it as "the bee's knees." The chicken was juicy and tender, practically falling apart, with just the right amount of spice. We will definitely be returning!
