Chi vuole riscoprire i sapori deve fermarsi qua.
I am originally from Taranto went to locorotondo while visiting my family and found this little restaurant. Food is good ,however extremely overpriced. We were 5 , 3 adults and 2 children and spent 30 euros per person and did not eat much. Therefore we will not be back.
We chanced upon this restaurant during our trip to Puglia. It was just after 2pm and only an hour until the restaurants closed for the afternoon break. We were attracted by the typical Italian welcome, without unnecessary explanations, energetic, fast and creating comfort. The menu includes home cooking, which we were fascinated by. We didn't have much time, so we only got one dish and wine each. I really enjoyed the Pollo nostrano con i peperoni – chicken with peppers and sauce, perfectly cooked and juicy. My companions ordered the Orecchiette al ragù con braciole and Strascinate con cime di rape, dishes with typical regional pasta, which they were also satisfied with. I also liked the white house wine. The bread was fresh, with a soft core and a crispy crust. We also got a platter of bruschetta and local olives. The portions are quite large, so we opted out of dessert, which I now regret a bit. But on occasion we will visit the place again to try more of the menu. The prices on the restaurant's website are outdated, they are a bit higher at the moment, but overall the price-quality ratio is satisfactory.
A wonderful experience with delightful server and Chef. Short daily menu of slow food seasonal specialties prepared with care. All our dishes were superb, pasta, roast pork, and the Sunday night special antipasto, which included cheeses, prosciutto, frittata, meat stuffed pastry, farro salad, and artichoke dip! When we thought it couldn’t be better she talked us into chocolate pannacotta with pepper gel. Best house wine we’ve had! Dinner for 4 with wine 80 Euros.
