Taqueria Los Caporales - Livermore

We were missing items that we ordered. What we did get was sloppily thrown together. I'm not sure which Los Cap this came from. I have eaten at the restaurant on First Street and it's always been good. I am extremely disappointed.

While it was well prepared and packaged, the food was very bland. Very little cheese or crema was used and the burrito was packed with rice. Needs more salt and fat to have the flavor of Tequilas or Castillito.

The al pastor is crispy and full of flavor, while the cabeza is tender and rich. Without a doubt, this is the best Mexican restaurant in the Coachella Valley.

The tacos are fantastic, as always, but the 7 Mares soup is incredible! It’s packed with seafood and vegetables. I will definitely order it again!

This is one of the best taquerias in the valley. It’s a hidden gem, and I highly recommend always adding a note for extra salsa, for example. They are very responsive, which is both appreciated and rare!
