Very friendly staff, especially the som and good food, but we stayed at dinner for 4 hours.
Amazing eating, wein and service. beautiful restaurant. the squid was the best court I had for a long time. a bit expensive, but it is worth it!
Favorite restaurant from my time in lissabon. we had the 9-course tasting menu that was amazing.
We had a great lunch menu for four people and really enjoyed the five course menu with the pairing wine. the menu was 60 € and the wine was another 40 €. total value and will return definitiw. let them highlight the thun-fishtar and dessert-cake. the opposite is perhaps not touristy and most beautiful, but definitiw the walk to the restaurant worth. service was excellent and even attentive to entertaining our baby so we can enjoy eating.

Our friends recommended this place as they are here twice during their visit to Lisbon and we loved everything about the restaurant. The 5-course menu is likely enough for most folks unless you want to try more dishes and have a big appetite. We could hardly finish the last dish! Everything was OUTSTANDING, world-class cuisine, served in an unpretentious friendly atmosphere. The patio was not available so we sat Inside, and enjoyed great 70s and 80s English-language music. Restaurant was too empty for a Friday night, perhaps prices are high? (prices are on their website so there are no surprises . Strongly recommend the wine pairings, these were superb. Every dish was better than the previous one and we loved the innovative flavor combinations, hard to pick a favorite. Only disagreed with one of their wines (Simas from the Azores , it was just terrible, sour and vinagry by itself but went reasonably ok with the fish (I could only drink a few sips of it though . The staff is incredibly professional, folks you would find at a very high-end restaurant. They made us feel very welcome and made it a memorable experience. WE WILL BE BACK again next time we come to Lisbon. The herbal sorbet (more of a granita? was perfect, but the ceviche was also wonderful. Then again the starting dish of ham, cheese and olives was the signal that we were in for an unforgettable experience.

I don’t know where to begin!!! Just Go!! You will not be disappointed. This was an amazing find!!!
After a great dinner here just a few months earlier, we thought we were going to enjoy the same experience, but sadly, it was an expensive EXPENSIVE failure. This time, we didn’t get the same friendly welcome, and we should have known that something was off. Despite arriving shortly after they opened for dinner, the staff were already struggling. The friendly staff we met months earlier were gone, replaced by folks who seemed to be unable to keep up. The restaurants appeared to be understaffed. Service was erratic, at best, and the food and wine pairings were not always in sync. Sometimes there were long pauses waiting for a glass or plate of something. Each time they brought a plate, the waitstaff only spent a few seconds reciting the ingredients but did not inject any personal comments or promoting interaction, running away quickly back to the kitchen instead. FOOD AND DRINKS Some of the dishes were good, but a couple of dishes were not to our liking at all. Some of the wine pairings did not make sense at all. Sometimes we had already finished the glass of wine when the dish arrived late. They still serve the terribly sour wine from the Azores island (is it Simas? , which a person in my party almost spitted out and didnt drink it. We would have asked for a different wine if the waitstaff had been more attentive and had asked us if we liked it or not. ATMOSPHERE A couple nearby decided to bring their newborn? baby, and the baby did what babies do, disrupting the atmosphere. We did not enjoy having to smell some aromas while we tried to sip our champagne. I wish folks realized that there are restaurants where you should not bring young children, or restaurants in this category should have a strict age limit. In addition, some folks also thought it was OK to use their phones while having dinner, so the noise level got disruptive at times. SUMMARY When you spend hundreds of US Dollars for a meal, you expect at a minimum outstanding service. A good restaurant should have a contingency plan so they are not understaffed, and they have to hire better staff. A great restaurant has to deliver each time, or stop charging so much money for a mediocre experience. I will stop recommending this restaurants to my friends and visitors, and I will avoid this restaurant. Lisbon is full of many less expensive, much better places to eat, no need to waste your money here.
Our favorite restaurant of our entire trip in Portugal. Service was so attentive and warm. Each course was delicious and special. The wine pairings were spot on and unique. We were a little surprised by the location, but once you’re inside it’s inconsequential. Highly recommend.

We booked lunch at Plano on a Saturday in July. I had expected to be seated outside, but that was my mistake for not checking properly. That said, we were in for a surprise — we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. It felt truly special, like a private dining experience with the full team and kitchen just for the two of us. The food was incredible. I honestly don’t have enough words to describe the amount of thought, work, and emotion that went into each dish. It’s one of the rare times in my life I truly felt the storytelling of a chef through food. You could sense the heart and soul behind every flavor, every technique, every choice of ingredient. Even the plates weren’t just plates — they were handmade ceramics shaped like the mountains of the chef’s region. I’ve never seen anything like that. The service was, of course, perfect. Attentive, warm, and discreet. And while value is personal, in my opinion, what you get here is far beyond what you pay. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. We’ll definitely be back — next time in the garden, for dinner. If you want to sit outside, make sure to book for the evening Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a great meal here with paired wines. Everyone was friendly and made us feel very welcome. The whole meal was centred around the chef’s heritage which was a lovely touch and meant each dish had an authentic story behind it. They also made me the most delicious birthday cake ever!
