Wow! We did the 9 courses and it was just almost perfect. There was one out of 9 we didn't care for. The service was so good....they really explained the food and every dish had a story. Our friends recommended this place as they are here twice during their visit to Lisbon and we loved everything about the restaurant. The 5-course menu is likely enough for most folks unless you want to try more dishes and have a big appetite. We could hardly finish the last dish! Everything was OUTSTANDING, world-class cuisine, served in an unpretentious friendly atmosphere. The patio was not available so we sat Inside, and enjoyed great 70s and 80s English-language music. Restaurant was too empty for a Friday night, perhaps prices are high? (prices are on their website so there are no surprises . Strongly recommend the wine pairings, these were superb. Every dish was better than the previous one and we loved the innovative flavor combinations, hard to pick a favorite. Only disagreed with one of their wines (Simas from the Azores , it was just terrible, sour and vinagry by itself but went reasonably ok with the fish (I could only drink a few sips of it though . The staff is incredibly professional, folks you would find at a very high-end restaurant. They made us feel very welcome and made it a memorable experience. WE WILL BE BACK again next time we come to Lisbon. The herbal sorbet (more of a granita? was perfect, but the ceviche was also wonderful.
