Today, we visited the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We arrived without a reservation, just 15 minutes after calling the tea room to see if they could accommodate us. It turned out to be a hidden gem with a fantastic variety of food options to suit everyone's needs. We will definitely be returning to book a themed afternoon tea in advance, as it is highly recommended. The cakes were beautifully moist and delicious, and the overall food was amazing. This is definitely a place worth visiting.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, despite living locally. I had a delicious panini for lunch and enjoyed some cake afterwards. The freshly baked cakes were mouth-watering and there was a great selection to choose from. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We made a reservation in advance.
I visited this restaurant today for afternoon tea with my four friends. The staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, providing the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. They made sure to include my friend's child at the table, treating her like one of the adults. Kelly and another lady served us and were both very friendly, explaining everything to us. The afternoon tea was great value for money, including two sandwiches, a scone, a generous slice of cake, and a drink for only sixteen pounds. It is a lovely little place!
Went last weekend for a Mother’s Day afternoon tea with my nan and mom. Best afternoon tea we have ever had. Food was so tasty, and staff are so friendly. Would highly recommend!
If you want delicious cakes, amazing afternoon teas or just a sandwich or panini, in lovely vintage inspired surroundings, then this is the place for you. Different cakes slices each week, some a bit different but always fresh delicious. Best to book especially at a weekend. Staff are always lovely and welcoming. Due to food being fresh you can sometimes have a little wait, but to be honest it’s worth it. Great for birthday groups or a baby shower.
