The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I will definitely be coming back.

The service was excellent from the young lady serving us, but the main course was... read more I had lunch at the restaurant today and was a bit disappointed with the food. The service was excellent from the young lady serving us, but the main course was not up to par. The roast beef was very dry and overcooked, and the sides seemed like they had been sitting on hot plates for too long. We didn't try the black and lemon dishes. The turkey was good, but the overall quality was lacking. We also enjoyed the soup and cold meat and melon board. It was quiet and late in the afternoon, so that may have contributed to the disappointing carvery. I hope they can improve. - Alan.

We chose The George Hotel in Lichfield as our venue for Ben and my wedding on 17th August this year (2017) and we couldn't have made such a better decision; the... read more We chose The George Hotel in Lichfield as our venue for Ben and my wedding on 17th August this year (2017) and we couldn't have made such a better decision; they accommodated our every wish for our special day, from our own welcome drink which meant a lot to us, to decorating the suite exactly how we wanted for each the ceremony, breakfast and reception. We'd like to say a huge thank you to all the staff who helped out on the day (who were polite and made us feel like royalty) but a special thank you to Abbie who helped us in the run up to the day and Tim who ran the day exactly as we wished. He couldn't have been more helpful; everything ran like clockwork and was always there if we needed something. Everything was perfect and expertly organised and we couldn't recommend them more to our friends and family. The food was delicious throughout the day and everyone commented on how organised the wedding breakfast was, all of our guests rooms (including ours) were extremely clean and beautifully decorated a good night's sleep was had!
