Bijou - Lebanon

I have been to Bijou several times since they opened. I usually love the food and the staff. However, last night the food was poor quality, and the portion size was so small. I have been to France and I understand their portions are considerably less than American standards, however, this was ridiculous. The 3 oz of fillet tasted old, the half a potato was gross, mixed with imitation bacon bits, and the one broccoli floret and one asparagus stalk were fine except there was only ONE! Then it was time for the bill gratuity was already added in and I paid in cash, neither the waiter or the owner could make change from $40 on a $28 bill. The waiter tried to take his tip out of my change when it had already been added to the bill and when I politely questioned the owner about the mistake he and the waiter argued about it and then he took the extra money owed to me and slammed it down on the table and said There ! Last time I checked that is NO WAY to run a business. We will never step foot in Bijou again and we will recommend others do the same! Honestly I think it is some little scam the owner and the waiter have going thinking people aren 't going to pay attention to their bill or their change and when questioned about it they get angry and acted confused! Unbelievable!!!!
