You have the best turtles. After I tried her, I compare all the other turtles. My fist ordered her hand dipped into the banana, and we have a doggy dish for our pup. The sizes are quite decent. A middle turtle Sundae was plentiful and even the doggy dish was more than I expected! Very recommended!! View all feedback.
What April Tegarden doesn't like about Ice Cream Paradise:
Ice cream was fine. Service was very rude. I’m from out of town and didn’t see the tiny little speaker where you order. When I finally realized they were waiting on me to order, I rolled down my window and apologized! Geesh, how embarrassing. The comment was “it works a lot better if you actually roll the window DOWN!” Well no duh! first of all, I didn’t even see an “order here sign”. Second, don’t be so rude! View all feedback.

The ice cream was decent, but the service was quite rude. I was visiting from out of town and didn’t notice the small speaker where you place your order. When I finally figured out they were waiting for me to order, I rolled down my window and apologized. It was so embarrassing! The response I got was, “It works a lot better if you actually roll the window DOWN!” Well, of course! First of all, I didn’t even see an “order here” sign. And second, there’s no need to be so rude!
The ice cream here is excellent! I stop by about once a week and always get the same thing, but I've noticed that the prices can vary each time. Sometimes, it changes by as much as 50 cents.
The ice cream was decent, but it wasn't anything extraordinary. I ordered a coney, while my daughter chose a hot dog. Both were quite standard—nothing overly impressive. I found the coney sauce to be lacking in flavor, and I expected the cheese I requested to be melted, but instead, it was just a slice placed at the bottom of the dish (I chose not to have a bun). On a positive note, the location features a pleasant park with picnic tables, making it a great spot for kids to run around and play.
There’s a shaded pavilion and plenty of picnic tables on the grass, plus pea gravel under the playground structure. The playground features several small slides, as well as six baby/toddler swings and six regular swings. The larger play structure for older kids can only be accessed via ladders, which prevents toddlers from sneaking up there. Conveniently located right off the highway, the restaurant also has a wooden fence separating the playground from the busy road, providing a good level of safety for my child. However, a more adventurous kid might find a way through, so I’d suggest upgrading to a picket fence and possibly planting fast-growing trees or installing some kind of shade tarps for extra coverage. We were absolutely thrilled to find this place and will definitely be returning on our next road trip!
