We dined there today, and I ordered the chicken enchiladas plate. It was fantastic! The dish came with three enchiladas, rice, and beans. They also provided a generous amount of salsa. I can't wait to go back! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mama Chole's:
I've returned to what was once a grill before it became Mama Chole's, but I must say that my last two visits left me very disappointed. My entire family ended up with stomachaches. We love Mama Chole's and drive for hours just to eat here, so I'm hoping you can step up your game. I know you can do better than before. We often bring friends from out of state to enjoy your famous nachos. So, here are two requests: firs... View all feedback.
Pretty good small-town mexican restaurant. Good size portions for a decent price. The restaurant is a little small, so it can get a bit crowded at times, but it's always great service. Mama Chloe 's is one of those little hole in the wall restaurants that you don 't expect much of but that can prove to be quite enjoyable if you 're prepared to check your big city expectations and pretensions at the front door. The food is good, the menu choices are sufficiently varied and the servings are more than ample. Service is friendly and efficient but very informal. We will be back.
MAMA MIA THIS PLACE WAS GOOD! food was excellent and the young man who served us was very nice and took good care of us. i give this place 10 out of 10 burritos. 1. The service was terrible—staff were unfriendly and seemed indifferent to customers from the moment we arrived until we left. 2. The cuisine was neither Tex-Mex nor traditional Mexican; instead, it was primarily low-quality American fare. 3. The food itself was nearly inedible. The tacos were overcooked, featuring burnt shells, bland ground meat, and some of the most unappetizing lettuce and tomatoes I've ever encountered. My wife couldn’t even finish her salad. 4. The restaurant was filthy, and the restrooms were poorly maintained. It’s clear that Leakey has lost its charm. The last place we enjoyed was the Roadkill Cafe. Trust us—if you visit this town, bring your own food and a propane stove or a barbecue grill. The dining options in Leakey are simply disappointing. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The best restaurant in Leakey! It's a must-visit when you're in town. I always go for Dave's burritos—they're my favorite!
