Mill Creek Cafe - Leakey

We stopped for breakfast and the pancakes and fried French toast were absolutely delicious. We always crave homemade food like this while we are traveling. The service was excellent. Thank you to the ladies for a wonderful meal.

I was pleasantly surprised by our experience at this restaurant! A group of 10 of us went for an early dinner after a long day at Garner State Park on a Friday. The menu had a great variety of food, all of which was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly, and I believe the owner even came by to chat with us. It felt like a small town cafe from the past, which was a nice change of pace. If you're in the Leakey/Concan area and looking for a down home, mom and pop, country cafe, be sure to stop by here. The steak fingers and salads were especially fantastic!

The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is perfect, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Located in the quaint town of Leakey, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I recently had the delicious BLT sandwich and their homemade onion rings were exceptional. The menu offers a wide variety of options at reasonable prices. We were even recommended to try Mill Creek Cafe by a fellow visitor at Lost Maples State Natural Area.

I recently had one of the best chicken-fried steaks I've had in a long time at this restaurant! I have to give the service a 3-star rating because they seemed understaffed and were quite busy, but our waitress was very pleasant and apologetic about the wait. I would highly recommend this place, but make sure you come hungry because the portions are extremely generous!
