Restaurant was out of alot of products. No catfish or Shrimp, no chicken tenders. Waitress informed us before we ordered. Brisket Melt was excellent. What JL Blank doesn't like about Bear Den:
Nice place if you're just wanting beer wine. Waitress was friendly. However, only came to our table twice. Food was mediocre and the owner supposedly wins in competition cooking... guess it was just an off day. Hubs had brisket sandwich, and I had a BLT. Server was too busy drinking beer watching a sporting event on TV, to acknowledge a group of 6 sit down to eat dinner. Waited for 10 mins while beer was served to everyone, and we were still unacknowledged. So we walked out. The server was even a manager.. Last time in there, the service was almost as bad.
Excellent eating! menu has a lot to offer. husband had the brisket melt and I had the ham and grilled cheese (3 species). the staff was friendly and very casual.
After the re-explaining of the against, for a refreshing cold beer and appetizer. large open and relaxing restaurant with a bar. the owner supports the local area. it is family-oriented and child-friendly hanging.
Great country store! If Buckey's and Cracker Barrel had a child!
Waitress was rude and unwelcoming. She made us feel uncomfortable with how unfriendly and borderline hostile she was. Only good thing I have to say about this place is they have good jalapeno ranch.
