My wife and I live nearby, and we visit Bob's at least once a week! The food and drinks are fantastic! We especially love the wings and burgers!
Bob's offers delicious food, excellent service, and refreshing cold beer! The staff is friendly and personable. I highly recommend it!
In the small mining town of Lead, we definitely preferred it to Deadwood. Bob was away visiting his dad in Rapid City, leaving Larry and Linda in charge of food and beverages. The food was decent, but we’ve heard that when Bob is cooking, it's even better. The drinks, on the other hand, were quite strong. The place has a classic local bar vibe with booths, tables, and bar seating. We took control of the jukebox and played a bunch of mining-themed songs while Linda kept the drinks flowing. It has an old-school charm, so manage your expectations and maybe leave the granola at home. They stay open late.
Cute little place in Lead! Our server was super sweet and the mozzarella sticks were large and amazing! Parking: Mostly street parking and during the summer it can be difficult to find parking. If you drive down the road a little ways through downtown Lead you will find a little parking lot on your left overlooking the Homestake Mine.
