Tucked away on a main road, this lively spot serves uniquely tasty German-inspired dishes alongside a solid beer selection. Standouts include the bratwurst and pork plates, as well as creative twists like a gluten-free Haus Burger. The welcoming atmosphere suits bikers and families, though note the kitchen closes by 8 p.m. Service ranges from attentive to slow, with some inconsistencies reported. While some guests question the authenticity of certain dishes, most praise the flavorful food and fun vibe. Outdoor seating offers relief during warmer days, making it a charming, though occasionally imperfect, destination for casual dining.

I rarely give less than a 4-star review but in this case, The waitress/server was neither friendly nor helpful. As a matter of fact she was downright rude. Our food, 2 brats with fries and sauerkraut, took a ridiculously long time to get to our table, and the French fries were cold. The food tasted decent but I think that $18.00 for this plate was setting the bar too high and they failed ro meet the cost:taste:value expectations. The building was a little run-down, the picnic benches were dry and splintery, and they were at an angle so it was not comfortable, at all. Sadly, we were not happy with our overall experience and would not recommend this place to our friends.

Great german food, good wine, friendly staff! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Red Cabbage

You get what you pay for here. The prices are a little high, but the quality and quantity of food you get is amazing. I would recommend anything off the menu. The sauerkraut was a little too sweet for my taste however. There is a big menu of domestic, import, and craft brews.

Definitely NOT genuine German food. It was ok I guess but we drove an hour to try it based on the reviews and we were quite disappointed. We ordered the pretzel as an appetizer and the cheese sauce came cold. Like out of the fridge cold. And what theycall spatzel was over cooked egg noodles, not even close to spatzel. The ?gravy? was like mushroom water and to top it off, someone (I?d assume a worker since we were the only family there at the time) was smoking near us the entire time. And we satoutside because there was no air conditioning or fans happening when we walked in. It was warmer inside than outside and it was85 degrees outside.
