Don't expect top-notch quality at the highest rated Mexican restaurant in an area where McDonald's is getting 5 stars... puro Laredo. This breakfast spot has a straightforward menu, but they do offer smoothies made with ice, milk, and fruit. It seems like everything on the menu comes with barbacoa (cheek meat). The staff is bilingual, or at least I assume they are because we were able to communicate in Spanish.
The service was awful. We decided to leave. They were not friendly to non-English speaking customers.
Don't buy menudo during the week or after 1 ... I bought a large one and got mostly hominy and very little meat .. large is supposed to have pata ... Very disappointed . Half was mostly liquid
I asked about a ramp and was told that the City of Laredo does not require one. I was surprised and disappointed that there was no ramp available to assist people with disabilities, including my friend in a wheelchair and seniors with walkers. It's unacceptable to not have a ramp for handicap accessibility. I will not be returning to this place again. Every dining establishment should have a ramp for accessibility.
Hands down great experience, I had the Omlette ranchera it comes with beans and some of the best Barbaqoa. I only added pancakes and bacon to the sample, and it was legitimate FIRE NO CAP. If you are in the area, you should definitely sit down and have food
