I had spoken well and confirmed. the service is very well maintained and I appreciate that there are young people to work. I ate noodles at the Montepulciano with cheek and still dream them! even the ravioli of my companions were not bad. I'll come back, thank you! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Connubio:
raw materials of excellent quality, however my first was cold and that of my oily boy; the second were not dishes well successful unfortunately, calf cheek and pork fillet with truffle and nuts.) appetizer with delicious tacos, chocolate soufflé with ice cream very well balanced in flavors and contrasts. prices tend to be high. All of a unique goodness and refinement. tartare, pappardelle al montepulciano, fillet with porcini... all great
You could take anyone to this restaurant to impress. When we were there it was only moderately busy and had none of the concerns about service that a previous reviewer had. Immaculately presented premises (with beautiful polished plaster walls), immaculate staff, and a friendly and welcoming attitude towards us non-Italian speakers. Our waiter made a great effort to help us with the menu, and every dish hit the mark. We argued whether the octopus was the best we've ever had (and we eat octopus at every opportunity), my rabbit was juicy, delicate and delicious, and my partner's entrecote was beautifully tender and tasty (one end of one piece was a little under a perfect medium, but I happily scoffed that, and that would be the only criticism). This is really top-end fine dining for the price of an average mid-range Italian meal. You must visit L'aquila as it is rising from reconstruction as we speak and once again becoming a thriving place of beauty. Not finished, but much is complete, lots of beautiful restoration work going on, and new shops, bars and restaurants opening every day. And when you visit L'aquila, you MUST eat at Connubio.
Friendly staff and dishes treated though simple. recommended! couple dinner.
