The best small countryside restaurant ever. Small and cosy, it is the place to go if you want to try the special local products at a price that is too good to be true. Saffron, lamb, marcetto cheese...; it is stuffed of DOP products, all from local producers, all carefully chosen. It is not just the in incredible quality of the ingredients that is stunning me. local cuisine can be a bit oily but the chef is somebody who has crealy attended a professional school and is using all the skills to make it work without being too heavy. All the flavours are beautifully preserved. Food is well presented and original without being too far from traditional in a costant research. Service is extremely friendly. Waiter guides you through cheese tray explaining the sequence in which it would be better to eat them to get all the experience. and don't get me starting on the price, with 30 euros you get the meal of a king. I want to be buried in this place!

Me and my friends we totally enjoyed the lunch here, from the infinite choice of starters until the amaro. The starters were an abundant mix of all the locals products and as main the carbonara was really good. Everything was so ABRUZZESE, typical food in a place surrounded by beautiful mountains. Moreover, the service was attentive, kind and helpful. Furthermore they do have gluten free options. Anche se mi aspettavo di trovare la vecchia atmosfera del Corridore, è stato Un pranzo con i fiocchi!!!

We showed up at 8pm during the week without a reservation only to find out it is fully booked by locals! (good sign) Waiters did not speak much English (also a good sign) They were very friendly and accommodating and organised a table for us although we had no booking The food was the best of the entire 3-week trip to Italy The starter: cheeseboard is a must Excellent main Quality wine Service friendly and attentive

The place is well located with easy parking and at a very short distance from l'Aquila. The food is genuine abundant Abruzzo enjoyed by locals, recommend that you reserve a table during weekend if you want to eat there.

Stopped here for lunch and one of the best Italian lunches. I had the crespellia and Steve had the carbonara. Location was perfect. Highly recommend.
