Having not been for several years, we decided, whist on a short break, to treat ourselves. We were not disappointed, even though we understand it is under new ownership. The food is still excellent, the staff give great service, and in my opinion, still very reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, I particularly, enjoyed the Morecambe Bay shrimp starter. We left fully satisfied, won`t leave it as long next time, before we return

The portion size was perfect for me, as I can't usually eat some of the ridiculously massive portions you might get elsewhere, so I didn't feel that I'd wasted food. The ladies who served couldn't have been more helpful and made my time there a really enjoyable experience. Thank you so much ladies. I'd be back again tomorrow if I wasn't going home.

Today , however, was the most disgusting experience I have ever had with ANY takeaway... the starter and sides were clearly made hours earlier, left to go cold and then microwaved before sending. The chips were ice cold in the centre with a sweaty/slimy texture, the onion rings had the same texture, curry samosas were gristley, prawn toast was over cooked yet cold and the meat
