Wonderful overnight stay in our campervan with the pub super local friendly welcome, dog friendly, thoroughly enjoyed the food, company and the atmosphere. We stayed overnight in our camper in their car park with the caveat that we have a meal in the pub. Very glad we did as this is possibly the most hospitable pub and the most friendly staff I have come across. This coupled with brilliant food and drink made it a perfect overnight stay. We only live 35 minutes away but I think we will be making this a regular stop over just to get away for a night or two. Amazing find. Stayed here as an impromptu Britstop in our campervan. Very friendly and welcoming and allowed us to stay in the car park of this traditional family pub. Tucked away at Glasson Dock. 2 drinks each, 2 meals and a dessert for 50 quid, great value, very tasty food, what is not to love.
