A wonderful pub with very friendly, kind welcoming staff. Had a meal and drinks whilst staying overnight in our campervan. Would especially recommend the steak and ale pie!
We visited the Dalton Arms for the first time on Sunday and were so glad we did. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming even towards our dog and the food was delicious. We will definitely return.
A lovely special find! Food was lovely, I appreciate that when a place offers smaller portions of their main meals. An added bonus of a friendly dog and cat roaming around, as an animal person, I loved this perk. Would defo come again for a meal. Thank you for your great hospitality!
Dropped in here today on the way home from Manchester with father in law. No reservation and a wet and windy day we chanced our arm at getting a table Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. Seated quickly and placed our orders. Dad has essential tremors and so is always a little cautious when eating out. Staff delicately noticed this and offered him a spoon for his lunch aswell as a straw for his drink Food was delicious and Dad was over the moon with the steak and ale pie which was packed with meat. Serving size was perfect and the small Sunday lunch was ideal for me. Having been to Glasson Dock many times, this is the first time we’ve been in here but we will certainly be back again. Really rare to get good food in a nice cozy environment with a warm and welcoming service.
