Sharpie’s cafe in Lancaster is a lovely place to have homemade cakes, snacks and drinks. The dining area is very nice and feels very relaxed. Staff are lovely and there’s a great selection of books and dvds to browse and buy.
This is a lovely cafe to visit when you are in Lancaster Town centre. Coffee, tea and soft drinks available. There is a home made soup of the day and a variety of cakes. You can also have toast with butter, jam, peanut butter. Prices are very reasonable. We visit regularly as it's peaceful and the staff are so welcoming. Good place to have a chilled break. They support veterans, run groups for them
We made a point of having morning tea several times at Sharpe's during our holiday, (for the third year running) as we were several days in Lancaster as I was playing the Organ Recital at Lancaster Town Hall. Everything fresh and the proceeds help ex-service personnel, so there is good food, freshly produced and helping others at the same time.
This restaurant is a lovely and peaceful spot to take a break, relax, and enjoy a coffee. The cakes are delicious, and the quiche I had today was also great. The staff is friendly, and there are books available to read. The atmosphere is very welcoming.
We discovered Sharpe's Cafe quite by chance and had welcome morning refreshments. After that, we were in Lancaster several times and made a point of returing several times during our holiday in Lancashire. The staff are very friendly, the food is good and the whole philosophy is to channel profits to help Service Veterans via the First Light Trust. There are books and DVDs to buy amid a really pleasant environment. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff are young, friendly and enthusiastic in what they are supporting. Highly recommended do visit and help others in so doing.
