A good place to call in on when the weather is wet outside. I decided it looked a very nice place for lunch. I found that the service was excellent and just a short wait before a two great meals were brought to our table. The food was very nice and hot. The staff are very friendly and polite and welcoming. I would defiantly recommend that you give it a whirl to see what you think.
Visited with my family and folks for quick bite after a suit measuring. Nice service, good food, good value, nice cafe. There's evidently a beef between this and a neighbouring cafe as they have a sign stating toilets are not for their use.
Firstly the staff are very friendly and the service is always great. I have been here on multiple occasions and it cures a few hangovers! The food is always good and I cannot rate this cafe highly enough.
After hunting high and low in Lancaster to get a cooked breakfast we found Lewis's.. Yes we didnt get the warmest of welcomes but the lady taking orders did thaw during our meal.the breakfast was actually delicious, huge rashers of bacon and tea with extra water, unasked for.. Brilliant.I was able to swap an unwanted sausage for a hash brown which was not part of the breakfast package and the lady did do it but made it quite clear it was a one off favour .I dont know why so many cafes have a problem with mix and match? After all a hash brown is cheaper than a sausage so they are quids in.. If Morrisons resturant can do it, why cant othersAnyway never mind... It was a great breakfast and knockeds spots off the overpriced trendy multiples that fill our high streets
