From the welcoming staff that is so polite and caring when you arrive to the delicious entree with the beautiful presentation that it arrives to your table. The food is hot and freshly made to order. The atmosphere is enjoyable with pictures throughout the restaurant of the history of Knollwood and the surrounding area. My favorite photos are the owner’s (Dina father (Gus and uncle’s (Nick original restaurant that was very successful for years in that exact same spot that my family visited since I was a kid. The menu has something for everyone including kids and the restaurant has specials each day that offer a large portion meal. The staff is attentive all the way to the end (even opened the door for us when leaving! Thank you Dina and your staff! We will continue visiting you every time we are in the area! I had the house special clam chowder and there was plenty of tiny pieces of clam. For my entree I had the chicken Cobb salad chopped up per my request and I again was impressed they grilled fresh chicken breast instead of precooked prechopped meat. My husband had the chicken pot pie that he also enjoyed. The service was very attentive and the whole staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend to my North Shore family and friends. All the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. The bread was warm and crusty and the butter is mixed there. Both were very good. The restaurant and restrooms are very clean and well maintained. I love... read more Out of town and looked on Google for dinner options. Found Gus’ Grille with good ratings and a great looking menu. Walked in and the music was on point! I love a mix of 80s and 90s. The service was great, the bartender took care of us at a table. Suggested meals and was attentive. Shaved prime rib sandwich, southwest chicken flatbread, bbq sliders, southwest chicken salad, and chili fried cauliflower were all fantastic! Highly recommend stopping in!!!!!
