Panera Bread

Panera Bread
3.8 / 5 (1129 reviews)

Description

Panera Bread continues to impress with its consistently fresh and tasty offerings, such as the French onion soup and Green Goddess salad. However, patrons have expressed concerns about rising prices and fluctuating service quality. While some diners report friendly and accommodating staff, others have encountered rudeness and a lack of basic politeness, particularly from management. The charming and spacious atmosphere makes it a popular choice, but the declining value and service inconsistencies may leave some customers reevaluating their loyalty. Overall, Panera remains a decent option, yet the balance of quality and service is increasingly questioned.

I used to really enjoy visiting this place. The food is still fresh, but it doesn't stand out anymore. While prices have gone up at many restaurants, I no longer feel that Panera offers good value for the money. The biggest issue, however, is the attitude of the staff. I've experienced rude and unfriendly service from employees who seem to think they are working in a high-end Michelin star restaurant. The irony is that I've received much better treatment in far more upscale establishments. I don't expect to be pampered, but I do expect basic politeness, especially since I always treat others that way. They really need to check their egos; after all, they're just serving soup and sandwiches.

The food is consistently excellent, but the prices are becoming outrageous. I dined in for lunch and found the cost per person to be between $20 and $30. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a solid 4.

- Food: 5/5 - Service: 5/5 - Atmosphere: 5/5 I recommend trying the Creamy Tomato Soup, Broccoli Cheddar Soup, the variety of Panera Bagels, the Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup (You Pick 2), and the assorted Panera Cookies. The price per person was reasonable, between $1 and $10.
