Taco Wagon - Lafayette
Taco Wagon
Description
Taco Wagon presents a mixed culinary experience that leaves diners divided. While some patrons rave about the quick service, friendly staff, and delightfully low prices, others express disappointment over the lack of seasoning in dishes like the breakfast burritos and tacos. Issues such as poor communication and unwanted additions, like rice mixed into burritos, have frustrated loyal customers. Despite its potential as a hidden gem, the inconsistency in flavor—particularly in chorizo, asada, and carne molida tacos—has some questioning the restaurant's favorable reviews. Taco Wagon may charm some with its offerings, but others feel let down by their dining experiences.

First time here. I ordered tacos togo and was so excited to eat them because they smelled so good! (and because I was also so hungry). When I got home, I washed my hands and dug in! Opened the green salsa and was slightly disappointed because it was only a quarter filled, that was okay I wanted to try the Carnitas tacos. With my first big bit, waiting to taste these great smelling Carnitas, I was again disappointed , it was bland. So I fingered maybe that’s their Carnitas, let me try the Chicken. Again, bland. This place has great reviews, this is just me and my experience.
Poor communication, Deluxe burrito was over spicy and unseasoned, chilli sauce tastes like can chillies. Eggs were dried. Never again. Surprised it has great reviews.
4.5 ? Guys we're super nice and great service. My chorizo burrito ? was very good. Also got a chorizo taco ? was great too. Plenty of seating there too.
