I had a delightful breakfast with a friend on the veranda. Our eggs (over easy and sunny side up) were cooked perfectly. The gluten-free pancakes were delicious, but I would have liked more syrup since they were quite large. The staff was attentive and promptly refilled our coffee and water. Overall, a very pleasant experience. View all feedback.
What Susan p doesn't like about Morning Glory Cafe:
Not healthy enough for me as organic fresh plantbased sugar free gluten free. Not enough healthy choices, too much oil used, and is it pure virgin olive or coconut or avocado oil? Sorry I can’t eat there again.. However my friend loved her meal of sausage and eggs and pancake! A 5 star from her! : View all feedback.
June 2024: Morning Glory is incredible! The food is fresh, homemade, and feels like mom's cooking. Elizabeth provides fantastic service with a smile, and all the dishes are made with freshly cooked ingredients. The soups are delicious and made fresh daily, not canned or salty. My favorite is the grilled cheddar avocado tomato on sourdough. The restaurant also has great artwork on display and a lovely patio for dining. 2023: Emily provides excellent service at Morning Glory. The cherry cobbler is a must-try, made with bountiful cherries. The burger comes with the freshest salad I've ever had. The restaurant also features beautiful paintings from local artists for sale inside, and a cute outdoor patio backing up to a quiet, green park.
I recently visited a charming café with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was quick and extremely friendly. I decided to order the BLT with fries, but unfortunately, the bacon was too tough and the avocado tasted sour. I spoke to our server, Krista, who graciously took the dish away and promptly brought out a delicious stack of pancakes. She apologized, although it wasn't anyone's fault, and made sure I was satisfied with my meal. The BLT was removed from the bill, and I thoroughly enjoyed the pancakes, which were some of the best I've ever had. The café also offered a variety of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. We will definitely be returning in the future!
I love their breakfast potatoes. Even when the restaurant is busy, the service is fast and the food is quick to come out.
I wanted to spend a nice Dad Daughter time having brunch within the vicinity of Boulder and Broomfield on 25 Aug 2024, before my daughter started day 1 of her classes at CU Boulder the following day, and before I headed back home. I found Morning Glory Café after a quick Google search and opted to try it out based on the amount of positive reviews. As with majority of restaurants that specialize in a breakfast/brunch theme especially on a Sunday, this one was no different...to the effect that it was crowded and had a wait list established. As a Las Vegas resident, I 'm no stranger to long lines and waiting lists, but the difference at this restaurant was that the wait time went pretty fast...so kudos to the restaurant staff and their process(es) for that. When we got seated, I couldn 't help but notice the nice décor and the wonderful views that customers could have when sitting indoors at a table next to a window. The views are great but I couldn 't look at it often since there were people at one point sitting right outside, next to the window (adjacent to us). I mean I could 've looked outside, but let 's be real, how often have you experienced someone looking at you, only to realize that they 're looking at someone(thing) else in your general direction that feeling can be uncomfortable to some. Needless to say, it was irrelevant since majority of the time was utilized spending quality time with my daughter. Visiting Colorado, I anticipate being exposed to a lot of restaurants accommodating others with special diets/medical needs, so having a carnivorous background like my entire family and I, it can be a struggle at times in this state. However, I am also adventurous and enjoy trying new things so I ended up ordering the Sunday Brunch Special (Blackened Shrimp Omelet w/Rye Toast), and my daughter ordered the Breakfast Burrito. I was shocked to see that the burrito didn 't come with bacon or sausage (I think that was a first time for us) needless to say, I 'm pretty sure the restaurant could 've added some if I requested/paid for it. The one major thing that took me for a surprise (and we were disappointed) were the pancakes at this restaurant. I should 've done my due diligence and researched this prior to visiting, but I didn 't know their pancakes were made with nuts (my daughter is allergic to that). I appreciated the business for specifying this right on top of their menu, but unfortunately for us, we were looking forward to some regular flap jacks. I asked if there were a separate batter made without nuts, but to our surprise and disappointment, there weren 't any. Oh well, we didn 't lose sleep over it, and the entrées we ordered were still good. The service here is top notch...from the time we walked in, all the way to when we departed. Our main server, Tara, did such a remarkable job that afternoon; she explained everything in great detail which was appreciated and answered a couple of our questions without hesitation. Throughout our visit, she was attentive, professional, friendly, and courteous. The prices were reasonable and I highly respect this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans thank you for that! As far as the ambiance/atmosphere goes (and aside from my comments above on the views), the noise level can be a little loud in the restaurant making it difficult to hear the server and the people at your table. Not a show stopper but was annoying at times. And finally, of noteworthy significance, I really enjoyed how this business provides scissors on each table to easily cut the jam packaging. And although there 's a perforated line on the package itself, this makes it easier and less messy for customers. Little details like that go a long way and makes the entire experience monumental. Overall, I recommend this restaurant to everyone...especially if you have certain diet restrictions.
We absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and the portions are huge. They have great gluten free options as well. We always get the gluten free pancakes and a breakfast burrito. Highly recommend. Many thanks to the owner, Lily, for her amazing service. She is the best!
