The atmosphere was wonderful, but the service was quite slow. The servers were friendly, but it took at least 15 minutes to receive our drinks. The staff could benefit from better training and a more thorough understanding of the menu. View all feedback.

We have been to 3 of The Post locations, but frequent this one the most. For the most part, we have had good experiences, but this visit would push me to never return. Our waitress was rude and super spacey, screwed up my boyfriend’s order and he had to wait 30 minutes for the correct one, and our food was bleh. We definitely weren’t impressed, as most of our food was lukewarm and/or missing an ingredient. My silverw... View all feedback.
Service was okay. Incorrect wine and wrong drink to the table. Unfortunately kiddo Spilled a drink and we were left to clean it up after we were told not to worry about it. Was just left there
We went for Sunday brunch and were originally seated in the back bar area. It was ridiculously loud between the music and large families with small children. They graciously reseated us but then we were pretty much forgotten. Luckily we had already ordered. Food was good, large portion size and were able to get various sauces and gravies that were part of the dishes on the side so we could share and explore. Chicken and waffles was delicious with a delicate waffle under a nice sized deep fried boneless chicken breast that was juicy and crispy. Accompanying gravy was thick and unctuous. Glad I got it on the side as it would have been too much on top of the chicken. Companion got chicken biscuit and gravy which came oddly in a bowl making it really hard to eat. Again crispy delightful chicken and massive biscuit. Potatoes with it went untouched because of portion size. Egg topper was done as ordered. Make reservations because it gets busy fast. Pomegranate mimosa was good but not a large amount for $9. Half a wine glass. Service was okay. Because of being reseated we got missed for drink refills and checking on food order until very late in the meal. With tax and tip it was about $35 each
We made an early reservation for 5:30p, as my 82 year old parents were dining, so I didn't want them to have to wait. However, we weren't sat until 5:50p, so they had to wait anyway. I asked the hostess what the delay was and they said that earlier parties with reservations were staying longer than the allotted hour and a half dining time, so they couldn't seat us. If that is truly the case, then management should be asking diners to leave who have overstayed their dining time. Otherwise, what's the point of taking reservations if you aren't guaranteed a table within a reasonable timeframe of your reserved time? I will not be utilizing the reservation system in the future at The Post, nor will I bring my family there, since I can't trust the reservation system.
The food is great — like surprisingly great. If you’re going on the weekend, I would absolutely recommend a reservation. The service wasn’t super great — I felt like we were waiting quite a while for server to make their rounds to the table. But take this with a grain of salt! It was very busy!
Loved The Post! We had a big family group for dinner there and we were seated in the back where the bar is. The area was surprisingly more quiet than the main dining area. The food was great and we got a great deal with the family meal. The only reason ambiance was one less star is because this is a casual restaurant so the atmosphere reflects this.
