I had to request for no cheese on the vegetarian sandwiches (3 of them, or customize your own ingredients), two vegan ice cream options, and a chocolate vegan cupcake. View all feedback.
What ergoblue doesn't like about Eats And Sweets:
The restaurant offers a fantastic Build Your Own sandwich option with Tofu as a choice. I was informed that the organic bread is suitable for vegans. Although they have run out of tofu a few times during my visits, I can't resist creating my favorite tofu, avocado, cucumber, carrot, spinach, and avocado sandwich, so I keep coming back. I do wish they still had the vegan baker there. They also have vegan cupcake optio... View all feedback.
As a vegan, I've often seen the dairy-eating people trying tons of different flavours of ice cream on tiny spoons and felt a little jealous... if there are any options at all for me it's usually one sorbet. Not at Eats and Sweets! The tiny spoons are back in my world! The counter staff said they typically have 2-3 flavours of vegan ice cream made by Sweet Action ice cream (in Denver) and ice/sorbet varieties too. The selection changes all the time but the strawberry vegan is made with coconut cream and soy (but doesn't have that coconut-y taste) and is absolutely perfect you could never tell it was vegan. The carrot cake caramel and coffee donut are interesting too. One downside (or upside) is that the scoops are more like two scoops... I don't like to eat that much sugar/fat in one sitting but others might find they're just perfect. Next time I'll get a kiddie scoop. Unless they have that strawberry again.... lol I haven't tried the food options here yet but they do have several vegan options like humus, salads, tofu and veggie dogs. Cute, funky little cafe setting. Updated from previous review on 2017-07-31
That was the sweetest place with delicious food. We have tried tuna, egg salad, turkey ham sandwiches as well as sunflowers, shakes, ice cream, cheesecake, mousse, we are just trying to call it. It is definitely worth it. Staff are first-class friendly!
A nice little find in the heart of Old Town Lafayette for desserts, pastries, ice cream and other sweets. Seemed very family friendly. Went here on a Saturday evening around 600pm and the place was pretty much empty; service was pretty prompt. The store has several flavors of vegan ice cream, which is not something I've seen at other stores. Ample tables and seats Prices are reasonable. No dedicated parking, so you'd have to find some street parking.
Thank you so much eats and sweets for my baby boy’s first birthday cake. It was exactly how I wanted. Lovely colors and taste. The only thing I guess I did was that I put the fresh cake in the fridge because he went to take a nap and icing was made of butter cream so it was bit hard to cut. Cookies and cake had lovely taste. I’m gonna freeze rest of it.
Sweet little shop with delicious food and desserts. Friendly, helpful staff. Vegan and gluten-free treats.
