Visiting cologne on a quick business trip decided on Max Stark after seeing the reviews. As we walked up, I realized I had eaten there about six years ago. Bottom line - still great six years later. The place was busy but we were seated right away with at a large table with lots of people. Terrible place. We went there because of the good reviews but man what a mistake! The waiter was rude and extremely impolite. There were at least four available tables and we had to eat standing for no reason at all. There is nothing special about the food. Have been passing through and this restaurant is recommended. expectations 100% hit! super service. fabulous eating and very good cereal. I'd love to go back!
A fantastic, authentic Cologne brewery with a rustic atmosphere, traditional dishes, and above all, delicious Kölsch beer! Definitely worth a visit, but don't forget to make a reservation, as there are only a few tables that are frequently booked.
The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Since I am a tourist, they ask for tips.
