I was seated alone and inevitably overheard the surrounding tables; they were talking so loudly that I couldn 't escape the cacophony. After half an hour, it was clear why there were some bad reviews: not because of the staff and not because of the food, but because of a segment of the clientele. To my right, there was a constant stream of special requests, and to my left, the same pattern: I always eat it this way, Can 't you do it differently? Swap this, Leave that out, Add something. An endless loop of extra orders that would completely derail any carefully planned dish. It really makes you wonder: What do these people expect from a restaurant?
