I recently visited Tim Hortons for the first time, and it was more than just about the donuts (it's been a while since my last trip up north). I stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available. I even indulged in a breakfast sandwich in the afternoon, and I truly enjoyed it!
I had another wonderful experience at Tim Hortons! It seems their festive menu is back. Here's a helpful tip: if you order a large tea instead of a medium, you'll get two tea bags due to the larger size. If you request one bag 'on the side,' you can enjoy it later or add it to your current cup for an extra boost in flavor. You're welcome! #kwawesome
Then, I specifically asked for a regular bagel bun for my takeout BELT, but when we got home, we found that it was an everything bagel instead. The most frustrating part of my visit was when I ordered two sausage and bacon wraps. Neither of them contained any sausage at all. I could understand if just one wrap was missing the sausage, but both? It was unlikely that my order was misheard since the only other option available was a farmer's wrap with hash browns. It felt like my request was completely overlooked. To make matters worse, the wraps only had small bits of bacon that resembled crumbs rather than actual pieces, which was really disappointing considering each wrap cost $8. Lastly, the dessert area filled with donuts and Tim Bits was swarming with flies. I was going to order a donut, but I was put off by the sight of multiple flies crawling over the treats. I didn’t take a photo, but based on what I've seen in other reviews, this seems to be a recurring problem and indicates poor sanitation. Overall, my experience was unacceptable, and I won’t be coming back.
I went inside to discuss the issue with a supervisor, who assured me she would look into it with the staff. While it would have been nice to receive a complimentary sausage sandwich as a gesture, I didn't complain and simply expressed my gratitude. I do believe this location has the potential to improve and become a much better Tim's. Here's to hoping for better experiences in the future!
As a business owner who values customer service, I have certain expectations when I place an order. On June 21, I requested a specific item prepared to my liking, but the staff member in charge of food made the situation uncomfortable by consulting her colleagues about my request. This behavior felt unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude. When I brought up my concerns about her attitude, she reacted defensively. It's evident that this employee would benefit from further training. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've encountered problems at this establishment, and due to this experience, I have decided not to return.
