Swiss Chalet - Kitchener

I was disappointed to find that the fries were just potato skins and were a dark gray color. The presentation was nice, but I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This is what a Swiss Chalet should be! Had an amazing experience with great service and delicious food. I absolutely love Swiss Chalet! Though I will say, some locations, like Boardwalk, are not as good.

Due to the Coronavirus we had to use the drive through to place our order. When we got back to the Office the chicken was just terrible. The Chef must have pulled the Chicken out of the fridge from the day before. The skin was...dried out, the meat was like rubber. Do NOT WASTE your money by ordering a meal from this location. Very disappointed. If we had been seated, the meal would have returned.

We were seated almost immediately. The waitress we had was awesome. She got our drink order delivered it a few minutes later. Took our food orders. My wife started off with a cup of chicken noodle soup. Which was great. For her main entree she...ordered a chicken Caesar salad. Which was dinner size in her main entree. However s ordered it without the kale and just romaine lettuce. However the bacon as soul overpowering with Smoky flavour and it overpowred the taste of the salad and she could not eat it she did not enjoy the salad at all and barely touched it. She should have said something to the waitress and had it taken off our bill because we paid for something that she barely touched . I started off with a garden salad with double house dressing which was awesome. My main entree was a half chicken dinner it was okay nothing to write home about I had fries with it they were good. I had a side coleslaw which was awesome. We had the garlic cheese loaf and it was all so awesome. But because of my wife not enjoying her main entree the salad at kind of rude the entire experience in night. It brought the mood down of the entire meal making it feel like we had a poor dinner. Again the service was outstanding but unfortunately because of my wife's main entree I am mine being mediocre at best I'd have to say the experience was not a great one.
